I'm just posting this quickly to let everyone know that recently, Jcink.com has again come under fire from person or parties unknown with the intent to disrupt the site's normal function by way of Distributed Denial of Service attacks. (A technical way of saying that someone is trying to overwhelm Jcink's service by using multiple computers to make a more requests than the server or bandwidth for the server can handle.)
On February <a href='http://twitter.com/#!/Jcink/status/167392251641724928' rel='nofollow' target='_blank'>8th</a>, <a href='http://twitter.com/#!/Jcink/status/168880520913100800' rel='nofollow' target='_blank'>12th</a> and again on the <a href='http://twitter.com/#!/Jcink/status/170046635852840960' rel='nofollow' target='_blank'>16th</a> and again today (the 17th) Jcink was hit by DDoS attacks. They were resolved within 15-20 minutes each. But the fact remains that Jcink is being targeted and there is a high probability that more DDoS attacks will be made within the coming week.
So if you are unable to access this site, please check the <a href='http://twitter.com/#!/Jcink' rel='nofollow' target='_blank'>Jcink Twitter Feed</a> (as it is usually updated within minutes when an attack begins.) It is also likely a good idea to bookmark this url so you can easily locate it.
It is also important to remember that if you cannot access the site due to suspected DDoS attack, please do not keep pressing the refresh button as that only adds more requests and may make it take longer before you can access the site.
