Endless Fight's 7th Birthday

February 15th 2017 marked the 7th year the site has been around. 7 years is a long time for any site and at this point I've more than lost track of the number of sites I've seen come and go.

Thanks again to everyone who has stuck around. I know things have gotten busier than ever for all of you.

As per usual, each birthday for the site brings changes... This time there's debate on whether or not to keep Chatango or whether we should go with Discord.

But there's more going on behind the scenes too that I'm working on. Front and centre is bringing SSL to the site. At present there is still more testing to do. (I have to wait until March for it because the next phase of testing has to do with auto-renew and it doesn't expire until then.) But it is coming along nicely otherwise.

For those that don't know what SSL is or why it matters...

SSL is a privacy protection method. It is what gives sites the "s" in the url bar so instead of "http:" it's "https:".
More specifically it means that any data sent to and from the site is encrypted so that only the person accessing the site can actually tell what it is.
