Ridiculousness of ContentID
Youtube's ContentID system is one of the largest systems that automatically identifies sections of music that (presumably) have been used without permission.

The problem is this system doesn't always work properly.

A video of a kitten meowing, when looped, was enough to fool the system into thinking the video contained some of EMI's Focus song.

So either the kitten has a really good singing voice or that song just sounds like meowing cats to the computer? (Not sure that's really a good thing for the music in this case...)
