Remember Megaman Universe? That game Capcom cancelled that was set to allow fans to develop their own MM levels?

Well, fans have decided to build that game themselves. And now it's set to be released July 15th 2017.





You might want to get a copy as soon as it releases... Capcom (or Nintendo since it seems to incorporate some SSB attacks) might try yanking it down.

Capcom is pretty chill with fangames. The question is if they are going to try and buy this like they did SFxMM

It could be cool if they did... Officially endorse it, maybe spare a dev or two and really help the current dev out to make the best possible game. Perhaps even get some more new/unique content for the game to help broaden it.

I have to say I also like how they made some changes to the powers to give them some utility.

The charge kick is weird. I'm not a huge fan of that change, but the top spin is awesome. I wonder if and how they handled Power Stone

I don't know if you can do that... I mean it'd be pretty cheap if you could. And loads of people would likely make troll levels where you think you're fighting boss 1 but instead you're walking into the spike trap.

Personally I like Mario Makers rule of you have to beat the stage to upload it

I'd sort of like to be able to upload stages without having to beat them yourself... However you have to opt in to even play them. Sort of a warning like "Hey, these levels might be stupidly hard or even impossible. Play at your own risk. "

In Mario Maker there were examples of certain content creators who'd make a level impossibly hard but design a sort of back door just so they could beat it themselves. Like an invisible block that only they knew the location of which contained a cape or some other power that they could use to just go over all of the traps.

Will not stop someone for making that possible ,but from what I hear they are implementing that rule as well, so no spiked wall man can come true. Granted I have no desire for this ,but I am sure someone will find enjoyment out of it I am sure.

Well, Mega Man Maker has been powering along. They just released version 1.5 now.





Among things they added:
- Tornado man
- Grenade man
- Concrete man
- Astro man

A bunch of the weapons from Mega Man 8 and 9.

New tiles/gimmicks like the exploding lines from Megaman 11's Blast man stage.

Plus some a quick wheel for dropping favourite items in creation mode.
