Facebook changes privacy rules
Facebook was set to change their privacy rules so that everyone would fall under the same strict rules set by the EU.

But that's not going to happen now.

Instead users outside the European Union (1.5 Billion in total) will find themselves under American law now. Which means that they have no right to find out what info Facebook has on them or any of the other safeguards that the EU's law would have had.

Is it any wonder they'd want to use the US law (which has little "right to know" access) after the Cambridge incident showed severe problems regarding to privacy and data access/retention?
